Discovery Channel Presents: The Red Light

Discovery Channel Presents:
The Red Light

The red light is a misunderstood creature, constantly changing moods from green to red when least expected.  If you ever happen to encounter one of these creatures, they can be very dangerous.  The red light gives its prey a warning sign before it turns bloddy red mad.  When it flashes its yellow light, no nearby citizen is safe within a 100ft range.  As soon as its prey enters the red light's territory, the light begins to attack.
The red light is a fast creature, ranging from one to two and a half seconds in attack speed.  Some red lights have an incredible sense of sight and memory as an advantage for them.  When the prey enters its territory, the light will familiarize itself with its victim simply by looking at it and making a picture in its mind so that later the light can stalk its prey.  A red light's territory is called an "intersection".  The red light makes boundaries for this intersection called "crosswalks".  The red light never leaves its intersection when attacking because it often never has to.  The light will pounce upon its prey before it leaves the entire intersection and crosses the last crosswalk.
After catching its prey, the stop light will not feed upon it itself.  It instead passes it on to its young, which are called the police and the government (common name "the man").  They feed in a very unusual way, forcing the prey to suffer through finacial aid.
The red light is a very interesting animal which attacks its prey in a very interesting way, different from any other organism.  Beware of the red light.

Good info for every human being

I hate mass media, bandwagoning, Access Hollywood, ...stuff.  So many people think they don't know their interests other than those of everyone else.  They take the easy route and the popular vote because they are too lazy (or whatever it is, whether it may be that they have no interest in looking for the best route) and they feel it will be okay and enjoyable for them since it works for many other people, that is the popular interest.  This is very important: every person's mind works differently, and every single person is interested in different things.  Not everyone's interests work for other people.
All of this comes down to our culture today.  So many people are stuck on pop culture.  Today, two of the most listened to radio stations, KROQ and KIIS, are devoted big-brothers to the pop culture.  Pop is short for popular (duh, but that's not the point), hence the term pop culture means what the majority likes, what most people enjoy.  Even still, the pop culture is merely a definition, it is not a genre, it is not a style of music that people say they like to listen to, because pop is generated from others' ideas, some ideas that some people might not like.  These two radiostations also have no variety, and listening, we become isolated, ignorant, and dull minded.  Even TV shows, like Access Hollywood as I mentioned before.  This kind of media only promotes America's sense of ignorance by focusing on today's fashion, Britney's baby, Tom and Katie, TV shows that have only gained respect through fast money and their own promotions.
There are many people--no, everyone has his or her own interests and they do not, DO NOT have to relate to everyone else.  They don't have to be televised on local channels.  They don't have to be talked about on the radio.  They don't have to be part of gossip at work, or school even.  I do things that no one (not many people) does.  I encourage you and anyone you know to go out right now and find, FIND something that sounds interesting.  Cool is not a definition, it is a personal state of mind, an opinion, different for every person.

My favorite dream...

Hmm...  I'm not sure that I can target one particular dream, but I can analyze a few.  When I was young, four years or less, one of my parents (I for got which one) was clueless enough to bring me in the Backdraft show studio thing at Unerversal Studios.  That triggered a box set of nightmares, including one dream like this:
With my brother and grandma, we were walking through this dim hell-lighted cave.  I happened to notice something wierd as I walked with them; there were small tunnels, about the width of a bedroom.  When I looked inside, there would be a train (you could tell by it's locamotive headlight) and it was approaching out of the tunnel, so it appeared as if it were a long tunnel, an optical illusion.  Sorry, I had to include all of that.  Anyways, when we finished at the end, it turned into the hallway of my old house in North Long Beach.  Whan my two family members arrived in the livingroom, they were worried because I wasn't there with them.  In fact, ironically, I was in the bathroom.
I had a trilogy dream set about aliens, or the end of the world, or whatever.  One was about aliens taking over Signal Hill (Wheh?  Yeah, I know).  Another was a lil disturbing to me.  I had a dream about aliens taking over my highschool, and it was pretty violent, but that wasn't the disturbing part.  It went out on the news later that afternoon, and it was discussed very little and portraid as only a nominal headline.
I had another dream from the boxset I called "The End of the World".  I was at my dad's house, and for some reason, the camera's point of view, after showing the setting, turned to an old friend from across the street.  He went into my backyard and planted Skittles in the lawn like in the old commercials.  Later that night, I went to bed.  For some odd reason my brother was sharing a room with me when in fact he had never been at that time.  He went to bed around the same time, and--oh damnit, I forgot something!  I could have almost ruined the whole story.  Have you ever watched "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang"?  Haha, I just did that from the movie.  OK, sorry, where am I?  Oh yeah!  Before I went to bed, I saw lights in the sky, not stars, actual lights.  When we went to bed, I asked my brother, I mentioned the Skittles.  My brother told me to forget about it and just got to bed.  Well, about five seconds later, light flashed and it was the end of my dream...

I think that the "Wilson High Abduction" was my favorite.  I thought it was the scariest to me.  I might be telling you now that this is my favorite dream, but I may be wrong, I'm not sure that I can target one particular dream, but I did analyze a few.

Why should we read?

Reading is a method, a tool, a sense, a technique we use to express each others' ideas and feelings, and to communicate with each other.  The language itself does this, but it's reading and writing that enable us to do this without talking, in times when that person is not there, in times when that person is mute, in times when the other person is def (spelling issue?), in times when... well anytime one person cannot talk to another, and that's almost all of the time
This is not the only reason we read however.  Why the hell do we read books?  Well, in school it's simply a tool to help us develop our reading and writing skills.  But that's a boring take on it.  What else is it?  Imagine that everytime you sit down to read that book, by the way, what author is it?  Okay, imagine that person is sitting right there next to you giving you advise, telling you a story, telling you the wrongs and the rights of the world (and the lefts!), telling you to rebel against the man, telling you to rebel against yourself, explaining the meaning of life, providing a truth, sharing ideas, getting something out to the reader so that they can use it to his or her benefit.  Don't get me wrong, this aint no daddy tellin' ya what to do and take out the garbage.  This is merely a guide through life, an influence, an angel if you may, and that angel will carry us through life and we'll tell it where to carry us.  All we have to do is pick up a book and read it, only then will the angel of art and influence give us ideas to find the real truth in life.

Why am I alive?

Why are we alive?  There are many perceptions of why.  There is the spiritual belief, in which there is a god, or God, or whatever; and mankind can live a good life to seek a wonderful afterlife.  Like a dropout high schooler, people question that theory, go flippin' nuts, because they don't know for sure: the answer.  Science and nature may suggest that we are like any other organism trying to survive and plenty theirselves as much as they can.  For most people, this theory is also hard to take in, because--why ...what is the benefit?  The outcome?  Well, why don't you go ask Mr. Cheetah?  The fish in the river?  The mold in your refridgerator?  "Pshh, IDK," is what they'll all say.  The fact of the matter is that no one knows what we live for, but shouldn't we prepare ourselves anyway?  It's like when we go shopping.  You'd like to buy something, but you don't know what, or how much you'll spend.  So, how much money are you going to bring with you?  That's all up to you, only the store manager knows what will be there when you arrive.  This is an analogy on why we live.  We aren't aware of what lies ahead of us, but we can prepare for anything, we have no clue what god, God, or Mother Nature have set for us, but whatever it is, whatever the price is, the store will be open.
