Why am I alive?

Why are we alive?  There are many perceptions of why.  There is the spiritual belief, in which there is a god, or God, or whatever; and mankind can live a good life to seek a wonderful afterlife.  Like a dropout high schooler, people question that theory, go flippin' nuts, because they don't know for sure: the answer.  Science and nature may suggest that we are like any other organism trying to survive and plenty theirselves as much as they can.  For most people, this theory is also hard to take in, because--why ...what is the benefit?  The outcome?  Well, why don't you go ask Mr. Cheetah?  The fish in the river?  The mold in your refridgerator?  "Pshh, IDK," is what they'll all say.  The fact of the matter is that no one knows what we live for, but shouldn't we prepare ourselves anyway?  It's like when we go shopping.  You'd like to buy something, but you don't know what, or how much you'll spend.  So, how much money are you going to bring with you?  That's all up to you, only the store manager knows what will be there when you arrive.  This is an analogy on why we live.  We aren't aware of what lies ahead of us, but we can prepare for anything, we have no clue what god, God, or Mother Nature have set for us, but whatever it is, whatever the price is, the store will be open.
