Woodstock 69

Last week I found a chair back massager at the thrift store for just eight bucks! Everything works great, and it even has a heater! It also turns off automatically so that I can't burn the house down, lol. I strapped it onto my videogame rocker, and it is so comfortable. I just now finished some relaxing time to myself. Picture this:
Spin a record of the Woodstock 69 original soundtrack, played with crisp clarity through the magnificent noise cancelling Sennheiser audiophile headphones, with a bowl of ice cream, lights out, provided the solitude of my bedroom for free minded "rockin' out", all on top of an automated, hands-free, personally adjustable back massage.
Ahhhh... What a great investment. This must be the best eight dollars I've ever spent!

Paul Skinner's Adventures in Virginia

I saw:

♦Stop lights on strings

♦7/11s with gas stations

♦and poe-poes with those brimmed hats, I think they are called campaign hats.

I also saw a bush conduct an orchestra...

Waltz Again

[I'm gonna try real hard to make a sound track for this using the Genie organ. This piece IS a lyric, and it has music that goes with it. I hope not to get lazy.]

You hear it, you see it
You know it, it's in your head
The melody, assignment
Stuck with you when you go to bed
As it stalks you in your sleep
It has a face everyone knows
Wears a badge pinned over its clothes
Authority, surly he knows
Befriends you, and it grows and grows
But no one seems to see

So has there been any existence
Any proof of a change
Something a little different
What I have seen is just another piece
Another figment from the same old beginning

Waltz again
I do believe I've heard this melody before
Waltz again
This scale is so cliched
But the chords, they still seem okay
Though there's something, yet there's nothing new at all

They mail you, they broadcast
The radio, on the TV cast
Though you can't run, they won't hush
The result when people are in a rush
It's never easy
But what now, it's over
There's nothing new, so start over
Do you 'member, remember, I member
So they take the remember and release it September
And the memory is cleaned

Eventually all history is lost
To ignorance of change
Humanity forgets to think alone
What I have seen is just another piece
Another figment from the same old beginning

Waltz again
I do believe I've heard this melody before
Waltz again
This scale is so cliched
But the chords, they still seem okay
Though there's something, yet there's nothing new at all

Outcast, out underground
Remote and vacant from the sound
From the TV, the radio
Salute thee, the heroes
Why no one looks to you

Waltz again
I do believe I've heard this melody before
Waltz again
This scale is so cliched
But the chords, they still seem okay
Though there's something, yet there's nothing new at all
Waltz again
I do believe I've heard this melody before
Waltz again
Although there's something
We all know there's something
Yet there is nothing new at all

The Blog Song

The Blog Song

Yes, that's right, it's a song about blogs
Although it's more of a poem than a song
Something on my mind, I gotta make way
I have an audience online all day
Whether they are viewing or not giving a f_ck
I don't have to worry 'cause I don't see them show up
Why should I cry by myself
When I can cry with everyone else
But that sounded extremely emo
So I'll put that on private though
Like a magazine ordered through the mail
I can subscribe to blogs I'm able
And read their material they put up
On the specified category I look up
When I write a poem, it's time for a blog
When I get stoned, it's time for a blog
When I break a relationship, it's time for a blog
I need to take a shit, when I come back...
It's time for a blog
When I have a dream, it's time for a blog
When I see things unseen, it's time for a blog
If I need to back-stab a friend,
It's not wrong, it's meant to blog
Will Brittany's baby be named after me?
Subscribe to my blog and you will see
The possibilities are endless with many offerings
We can all share our knowledge, our ideas, our feelings
If we wanna hear about what one did last summer
Just type in the search bar: "asking for a petafile"
It's not a journal, so I'm not a nerd
It's not a diary, so I'm not a pansy
It's not inventory, I ain't no manager
It's simply a blog, and I am a blogger

PS: Some of these things I am not sincere about, some I am most certain, and some points are merely jokes. For instance, I am not a 'blogger', I just type a lot of writings, mainly poems. This is not a rebellious or moral driven piece, it is how you perceive it, and it is for fun.

Set Sail For Another Day

Have you gone on yesterday
Thinking of the day before
When you thought that yesterday
Tomorrow would be a little more
What do you expect to improve
What have you got to loose
Is there a reason why
You should step out of the way

    Never today, never tomorrow
Never a day, would you believe that you couldn't try
Another day, something to dream about
On a day, a day when dreams come true
When tomorrow comes set sail for another day

It is said that time travel
Is impossible
But I've gone to prove that test
It's improbable
Name me just one reason why
We cannot navagate through time
When all we need is a drive
Of the mind to get us there

    Never today, never tomorrow
Never a day, would you believe that you couldn't try
Another day, something to dream about
On a day, a day when dreams come true
When tomorrow comes set sail for another day

Mercy, Mercy, Spare the Darkness

Mercy, Mercy, Spare the Darkness

I was walking alone after dark
I wore a mask, a mask of fear
It was darker than that
I couldn't find myself even if I tried
The moon was covered up by the sky
By secret clouds, they were in disguise
The wind was moaning and making song
Shivers shake my legs all wrong

There was a ghost in front of me
I thought there it was but maybe just the wind blows
I felt a thing brushing at me
Maybe it was a cat that I could not see
There was a fear that I never met
How could I know if I've never seen
I heard a scream in the darkness
Darkness is calling, out for me

I couldn't respond at it
Stiff, still, unable to move
Where is my mouth, my mind, my soul
How do I answer this very chill
Can't get out this street is gone
There is no end and the gutters gone
Everything is wrong in the darkness
Darkness is calling, out for me

    Eerie darkened sanctioned dimension
    Of a madness craving innocence
    I am innocence crying fear
    Mercy, mercy, spare the darkness

Wait, listen, a noise or not
In pitch black night all is sound
When there is no light to assure
Comfort to discomfort is result
This striking fear you can't address
How could you know if you've never met
She will meet you in darkness
Darkness is calling, out for all

    Eerie darkened sanctioned dimension
    Of a madness craving innocence
    We are innocence crying fear
    Mercy, mercy, spare the darkness

Meow, shrieking noise
A black cat is just a breathing rug
When a witch and a bat fly
They are stealth in the sky
Ready to pierce your face tonight
Cover your face you have no sight
If you want to see tomorrow
Answer the darkness, it's calling you
And let the fear be lost in you
When you see darkness, tell me of her

The Revolutionist's Hymn

The Revolutionist's Hymn

Today I listened to the lost sounds of the past
They were cut up and dirty, but their scars and stains will last
They were memories or feelings of harmony
There is no peace today, and there's not much to see
Or listen to, that's what I'll do from now on
And make a soundtrack of my own since nobody's doing one
This day I'm making a change for the world
Today the sunshine had a hard impact on me
It was burning, but I did not complain you see
'Cause I was comf'terble, and I could take the heat
Like a man, and the sun reached out it's hand and he was greeting me
And saying hello, cause no one ever says it at all
Or makes a compliment, so I'll fill in since no one's filling at all
This day I'm making a change for the world
But if the world doesn't change, I'm making a change for you and me
       And those who understand
Hopefully you can see my intentions, and understand my direction
And those who haven't a clue
Will you get past my disguise and see into my eyes and plot my destination
A shrinking resolution, small secret revolution, our shit silly reactions that are taking us God know's where
Yesterday I lectured and failed to get the pass
I was no where near there, I walked them off the path
But I didn't command enough bricks for this road
Someday more will gather and together we'll go home
Or to another country where others will need the definition of what I am talking about
Bring this world to another time and they'll know my intentions to shout
On this day, and I'm making a change for the world
Making a change for the world
Making a change for the world
Come join me on this day and we will go...
